CarolinaKinder offers German lessons for children and adults, introducing them to the language and culture of Germany and German-speaking countries. For our youngest German learners, we offer music classes. Older children, depending on whether they are already fluent in speaking German or are completely new to the language, may choose a reading class or an introductory class. While children are our focus, we are pleased to be able to offer adult lessons as well.
Our classes are fun and family-friendly. If you or your child have any anxiety about participating in class, rest assured that our teachers offer guidance and error correction in a helpful, positive way. Mistakes are part of the learning process. We are here to support you in your journey to learn German, whether you are a polyglot or whether this is your first foreign language.
Typically, we offer in-person classes in Raleigh, Durham and Cary. Currently, we are only offering classes via Zoom for Fall 2020 and Spring 2021. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer music lessons through this venue or lessons for our youngest introductory class. We do plan to continue with these as soon as possible. In the summer, we offer a daily 3-hour camp for one week.
